Hi Shanaya!
ReplyDeleteI was pleasantly surprised to see your DLO about the Canadian Ration Cake! Well done on including the important parts such as the recipe, a bit about the history and some photos. Just make sure to check where your capital letters and full stops go.
Great effort on this blog work, well done! :)

hi miss Birtch thank you for the comment and what I need to fix!
DeleteHi there Shanaya,
ReplyDeleteOhan here from the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum in Canada!
I am so impressed with your Canadian Ration Cake. I especially like the way you've followed through the recipe, and added your own touch at the end with the icing! I am sure those who fought in World War I and World War II would have loved a taste of this cake with some of that icing. Nicely done as well with your historical analysis.
Well done, Shanaya - and thank you for taking on this project! All of us here at the Museum are very impressed!

hi its shanaya!
Deletethanks for the comment and the well done I don't know what to say but thank you so much it took sometime to complete and I was surprised when i got your comment I did not know that the museum in Canada would see my post. thanks though im so happy right now and enjoying the cake its really nice. I like baking and cooking its nice to get to know some nice and easy recipes that have history. I like learning new things but i really like learning history about war and stuff that has some type of hard work in it. for an example I learned about the history of coal mining. thanks for the comment.
Hi again, Shanaya!
DeleteYou're very welcome. We are very happy that you made it :)
We agree - recipes that have history are really awesome, and a lot of the time they are easy and fun to make like this one was! That's really great that you love history as much as we do!
Ohan
