100 word challenge

 Hi today in Wanaga we have been doing another 100 word challenge. we had to do this with a random setting and story line the teacher created. The story line is that there is a life size bubble that can take us where ever we want so I chose Paris I kinda wanna see Paris but also Russia.

I was walking through a forest and stumbled upon a life size bubble that will float me

anywhere I want. I walked into the bubble and there I was thinking of where I wanted

to go but all I could think of is there’s no place like home cause it was funny and I just

watched the movie. I thought of a place I wanted to go to and decided Paris so off i float

all invisible so no one can see me. I landed in Paris, saw the beautiful Eiffel

Tower and so much more. I went to the Dine at a street café and had a very fun time.

my new shoe

 hi today we have had a task to create our own shoe.  we designed our shoe and i think mines creative but i would personally not were them anywhere.  when I did this I did a lot of different designs and changed it a lot of times. I love this task and i thought it was very fun and I would do it again another time. 

playing to win

 Hi or Kia Ora  today we have been working on an trailer for playing to win. we had to do an part of the book. when we did this we had Ashton playing the role of Alice,  Carla playing the role of Clara, me / shanaya playing the role of Todd the bully and Alexia playing the role of Denny. for our trailer we just introduce our characters or roles we played.  

Playing To Win week 5

Hi guys today in reading we have read chapter 8 - 9, for our task we have to do are weekly Friday  discussion / basically questions about the book. We had to do these because we have no school on Friday.

1. Denny has a lot of responsibilities in his life, he helps his mum with fiances, has a job he takes care of his sisters and is part of a team. do you think these are reasonable responsibilities for a sixteen year old why or why not?   Denny does have a lot of responsibilities but I think that they are reasonable responsibilities for a sixteen years old. I think that its good to be active and do a lot of work. I also think that he should be doing these things so he's ready for when he moves out.

2. What responsibilities do you have in your life? How do you manage them and make sure you are completing everything you are trusted to do? In my life I have to do dishes and washing I'm also responsible for if anything is lost or to remember things that my family wont. ( For when I say anything lost I'm always who they blame and I have to find everything  that is lost).

3.  Denny feels pressured to drink at the party, but he still says no. why do you think the boys are pressuring him? Why do you think it is important to stand up for your beliefs? what values do you think he was showing by saying no to underage drinking? I think the boys are pressuring him cause he is saying no and wont do it. I think its important to stand up to your beliefs because its your body and your  decision for what you do. I  also think that listening to your beliefs is a great way of showing commitment. ( I think) I think he showed commitment, resilience, respect, and being responsible person he also showed integrity.( I think) 

100 word challenge

 Hi guys today we have been working on 100 word challenge as most probably know what is. The picture was foot print's in the snow. 

I woke up to the sound of christmas bells ringing. it's christmas eve and there

is snow everywhere. I walk down the streets to the smell of home baked cookies

and gingerbread cookies. The town square is as bright as ever and all the

Christmas decorations are up. It's almost like you're in a world of gold, red and green.

There I was going past the park just after the town square. I walked to my favorite

spot at the top of the hill under the big evergreen tree. I sat down in the spot with no

snow and sang.

playing to win week 4

 Hi this week in reading we have been working on adding more to our character description. We had to put more cause where farther into the book. 

 

When we did this I also wrote what I have picked out from who the characters act and behave.

Alice - Strong minded, independent, calm and hard working, sarcastic and funny.

She’s very independent and does not need prince charming to come and help.

she can be serious and she means what she says. Alice does not change her mind

she sticks with what she  thinks. She is not first to lose but not first to win. She is

friends with Denny, Clara, Zak and Todd. She does not have the strongest relationship

with Todd but there still friends.

Todd - Todd never lets anyone get in his way when he has something planned and if anyone

does they’ll regret it. Todd is also very independent just like Alice. Todd and Alice don't

have the strongest relationship but that does not stop Todd from liking her. Todd is very

obnoxious and full of himself. He does not like Denny and hate's people parking in his park.

Denny - Denny is kind and hardworking. He likes to make friends and play rugby.

He has an interesting character to him. He's independent  and friends with Alice,

Clara, Pete and Zak. He got a new car and moved into a new house and school.

He  moved from invercargill. He goes to westbridge. Denny is also responsabile. Denny has

two sisters called Lucy and Rose.

Gymnastics P. E

 Hi guy's today in gymnastics we have been doing all different things Like the beam the trampoline, mini trampoline and more. we did the mini trampoline Its when you have an mini trampoline and crash mats that you land on after you do your trick. With my group we did a straight jump, two feet landing jump and a front flip. I had fun my favourite part or activity we did was the flip. one thing I think I would like to do if there is a next time is the  big trampoline or the beam I really like both even though I don't like gymnastics.
