End of book review

 Hi guys as you can tell from the tittle that I am giving an end of book review to say what I think of the book Playing To Win. we are doing this cause we gave what we could predict from what they said at the back of the book and the cover.

End of book review 

I like this book its very interesting and had a lot of drama witch it not my thing but it made it a lot more fun to read and hooked me into the book. Next time the Author could maybe space it out the drama a bit because when they did this they made some chapters more interesting than the others but over all this was a really good book. I like the way the Author did not make it all love and made it different than most other high school books. I do think that maybe they could describe the characters more better and make it more easy to do a character description. I really like Alice, Todd, Rose and Lucy they made the book more amazing. The main characters were Alice , Todd and Denny. Alice Todd and Denny made the book more interesting. I selected this book because it had sports in it and the others didn't so it made it more better and fun. Overall I think this was a very good book and had character to it.  my favourite part was when Alice was sarcastic to Todd.  I would recommend this to my brother because it might be very interesting to him  and he might actually like it. Another part of the book that was amazing to read was when Todd deliberately ordered Denny what he didn't ask for.  This was very amazing to read and I would like to read a part two of Playing To Win.

why fireworks should be banned blog

 Hi guys these past few weeks in hur 4 we have been writing a speech on persuasive writing. Something I enjoyed about speech writing was the writing because I have had experience on persuasive writing and I have years ago wrote about why fireworks should be banned. One thing about persuasive writing is that I have for years thought that fireworks should be banned and it something that I want to stick with cause I have so many reasons why fireworks should be banned. When I did the writing I knew I could do it cause I've done it before and I'm passionate on that fireworks should be banned.  All thought out this  persuasive writing I have learned that I cant speak to people that well if I don't know them that well. I have also learned that as a public writer I cant read because I get very nervous I don't say the words right and i nearly whisper my writing.

 Hi guys today in wga we have been working on some tasks for EOTC week. I did a poster for Adrenalin forest.

gym pe

 hi guys today we have been working on gymnastics in pe these past weeks and months. I have learned to use the beam. So far  in gymnastics we have been working on the trampoline, mini trampoline, beam, parallel bars and more. we have done some front flip straight jamp and more. we have been doing front flips, back flips  knee slips. we have also been hoping leaping frog jumps and cart wheels. on the bar we have been doing rolling off the ar , tuck legs through roll and more. one of my favourite things was to do a front flip on the mini tramp and land on the mats. on the parallel bars we have been doing walking with our arms.

Margaret Mahy was an NZ children and young adult author born in Whakatane she made over  100 picture books, 40 novels and a collection of short stories.  

Margaret mahy died from cancer at the age of 76. She was diagnosed in april. Margaret mahy was a Liberian for over 10 years. Margaret mahy wrote her first book at the age of seven.

Margaret mahy was the eldest out of five children and her father was a bridge builder. The father read stories to all the children and influenced Margaret mahy to be a story writer. Margaret mahy’s mother was a teacher and she had a lot of relatives in the town with her. Mahy was a great swimmer at high school and she also worked as and nurse aide for six years.

    

Playing To Win week 7

 Hi guys today in reading we have finished the last chapter of the book. we had to wright a letter to the author of the book. 

Hi I would like to say this book was all really good and fascinating with all the drama and stuff all throughout the book. One thing I do wanna say is that all though this book was interesting I didn't like the fact that some of the chapters had more interesting things going on that the others were just really boring and not hooking me in. sometimes it was making me wanna turn away but over all this was really good. I do wanna ask if there is or will be a Playing To Win book 2. It would be fun to read the next book and read what more drama can go on between all the characters. Also in the future I would like it if you could describe the characters it would be great. I would like it if there was more to them than what I have read.
