art gallry

Over the past eight weeks kahikatea have been learning about Stability and how we can make a change and keep animals safe. We made 3-d crosses. They were a dasher because they claps on as at the end. They had different designs. They had waterfalls and waves and nest and plastic. Sockburn school have been making amazing models like a morl.we made a  plotted ocean and a story board



Mati made colored bottles. They cut them and put them on a stick. They spiraled up. They signed brit like the sun. The lights reflect the bottle on a stick.




Pohutukawa didn't make much they made flowers that had perils that were colorful like rainbow lights. They also made clay what where pretty and colorful lights.





We need to work on
I think we need more detail on are dozens like the spurll flower that had lights that reflect the spiral flower.

Pollution

Introduction

Pollution is killing our marine life. Did you know in the ocean there is a great garbage patch
It is 10 meters deep.the great garbage patch
Is Getting bigger it is a plastic patch.


Dolphins


Dolphins are getting polluted. There digestive system clog up and then they die.

Sea turtles


Sea turtles are getting stuck in plastic.
They  are getting tangled in plastic.
Plastic is bad for are marine life
People are growing their rubbish into the sea and are sea turtles are chopping on rubbish.
They are getting tangled in fishing net and string.


Conclusion

So after these sad facts what can we do to stop  they can stop litting and throwing rubbish.
And stop fishing nets and string getting into are sea , we need to clean are sea we are in charge of our marine life we can stop spraying chemicals millions of tonnes of plastic has ben dump in the sea each year.
