Bullies script detective (hurumanu 2)

hi today we had drama and we had to put the slide show that the teacher made on a blog. we looked at a script on bullies and we also did a picture dictation when they read a book and you draw what the book has said.

Hi today we have been doing some activiatys on the book called benny. we did and ice burg, picture dictation and role on the wall. some people might not know what these things are so I am going to tell you about these things.

1. ice burg - ice burg is and ice burg that tells you more about the character. so this is how it works - it works like this at the top / above the water is were the character acts or shows there emotions and also were they show there emotions were there fake and not what is actually going on.
under the water or at the botton of the ice burg its were the truth is or what is there actually feeling. 

2. picture dictation - when you draw what happens in the story or the main points of the story.

3. role on the wall - is when you draw a body and pick a character from the story and describe what the character is like.

bok choy freeze frames

Hi today we did some freeze frames on a story called bok choy and we did six main points on the story. for the last few days in drama we have been practising are freeze frames.

freeze frames are senses that happen in storys or other things e.g movies.

bok choy is an plant and food you eat.

the six main scenes were
1. Ah Sum came to sell bok choy.
2. Jacob went to the river and fell in.
3.Ah Sum saved him and took him to his hut.
4. Jacobs mother came and picked him up from the hut.
5. Jacob and his mum walked back home through the Chinese village.
6.  the neighbour and Jacob and his mother were talking.
