hi this week we have been reading a book called niggles and this is what we was set up to do
plz give me feedback on  my work

Read: Select a persuasive text from the choice of 4 from the book ‘Neighbourhood Niggles’.

1.On this week’s Doc type the main character(s) in this issue and the pages

2. Type the ISSUE (problem).
Should Mr and Mrs Fitz keep hens in their yard?
3. Create a 2 column table of the problem and its consequences.

Not much room for many animals

There very annoying

The smell gets to every corner of the house.

4. Solution - Type who the writer is and what solution they want, e.g. Suzie Long wants Mr & Mrs Fitz to move with their hens to the country. 

Suzie long wants mr and mrs fitz to move to another country to a bigger space for the hens and don’t have neighbours.


5. Go to the question BELOW for the story you are working on and write a full sentence answer to the inference question for the niggle you are working on.

5. Inference Question: How does Suzie Long like to keep her house as far as tidiness goes? How do you know this? (pg 3)   suzie likes to  keep her house tidy because she said that she can’t have her windows open.

6. Clarifying Question:  What does Suzie mean when she says ‘There is no escaping from it?

Suzie long means that you can hear it everywhere and  that you can’t get away from the noise.

5. Inference Question: What would make the empty section attractive for kids? (pg 5)
The kids on nite street would play on the  playground and kick their balls around. Kids like to play around so a playground would be a great idea.
6. Clarifying Question:  What does Owen mean when he says, ‘It would be an investment for the future?’
 It mean that Something that would be good to purchase or buy for the community some time in the future.

5. Inference Question: What sort of people might the Barretts be and why do you think that?
The barretts are people who like their backyard to be colourful and bright I think that because they have all sorts of lights and it is obvious that they like lots of colour in their backyard and it to be bright.
6. Clarifying Question:  In what way are the lights cheerful? Pg 6
The lights are cheerful because of all the different colours.

5. Inference Question: Why do you think kids without pocket money might be friendly with kids who have pocket money.
To get things off them like candy, fizzy and fish and chips I think people should be friends  with the people with pocket money because of their personality.
6. Clarifying Question:  Why would some kids be carrying other kids’ bags, doing their homework or loaning them their jackets or shoes? The kids do their work for the money because they don’t get given money by their parents.
